30 days, any reason
You can ask for a full refund within 30 days of buying Belltongue, for any reason. You don’t have to explain. The 14-day free trial is there so you can try the app first, but the guarantee applies either way.
Belltongue is sold through Paddle, our reseller and Merchant of Record, so Paddle processes the refund. The money goes back to the payment method you used.
How to ask for a refund
Use whichever is easier:
- Through Paddle. Use the link in your receipt email, or go to paddle.net, look up your order and choose to request a refund.
- By email. Write to [email protected] from your purchase email, or include it, along with your order number. We’ll ask Paddle to refund you.
Once the refund is issued, your bank or card provider may take several business days to show it.
What happens to your license
After a refund, your license is deactivated on all your Macs. Your data, such as History and your dictionary, stays on your Mac until you delete it. If you change your mind later, you can buy a new license.
Your legal rights
Our 30-day guarantee is in addition to your legal rights. It doesn’t limit them.
- EU and UK consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content, that right ends once the download or use starts, if you agreed at checkout to get the content immediately and accepted that you would lose the right. Our guarantee gives you 30 days anyway, wherever you live.
- If Belltongue is faulty or not as described, you may have other rights under your local law. These apply whatever the date of purchase.
Paddle’s own refund policy also applies to your purchase. Where the two differ, you get whichever is better for you.
Before you dispute a charge
If something is wrong with a charge, please contact Paddle or us before you open a dispute with your bank. A refund is usually faster, and we’d like the chance to help.
After 30 days, refunds aren’t guaranteed. If something isn’t working, write to us anyway, and your legal rights still apply. See also our Terms of Sale & License Agreement.
